Pepita Tweedy Teddy Bear is entirely handmade of high quality houndstooth tweed. Its soft contruction makes it perfect for hugging and snuggling.

Design of all Populiin Teddy Bears recalls vintage inspirations while maintaining modern look which makes it a must have collector's item for any stuffed toy enthusiast or simply as a treasure forever friend.

BEAR FRIENDLY: 
Populiin Teddy Bears were awarded with the “Bear Friendly” label in 2016 by Life Dinalp Bear Project. They carry a leaflet which points out the major threats to BEAR CONSERVATION and the importance of coexistence between bears and humans. So these little teddies are on a very serious mission protecting our bears in Dinaric and Julian Alps.

SUSTAINABILITY: 
Populiin contributes to sustainability by choosing LOCAL suppliers whenever possible and by UPCYCLING most of the materials used, making less waste and emissions to our home. All products are made by me in my home studio.

Populiin products are made to become your treasure - forever friends. In case they tear or break I will gladly fix any flaw  in a convenient manner so you can enjoy your product further more.

MATERIALS:

Body is made of: 

*100% wool tweed
*100% wool (ears and paws)

Facial features:

*wool felted nose,
*cotton thread - embroidered lips
*inserted plastic safety eyes.

Stuffed with hypoallergenic polyester.

SIZE: approx. 37 cm (14,5")

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Wool doesn't attract  lot of dirt. This means you can often just gently shake and air a wool item to keep it clean. Wool is self-cleaning thanks to it's thin layer of lanolin - a type of natural fat that surrounds the fiber and helps to repel dirt and impurities and is also antibacterial. 
Hypoallergenic polyester fibers (fill) repel dirt, bacteria, impurities and also water due to a thin layer of silicone.

• Spot clean only: must be treated by hand using a cold water and a detergent specially formulated for wool in the area of the spot or stain.
• Do not iron.
